Welcome to your Heartland Time system! This quick start guide is created to give you the minimum steps in getting set up and working.
Heartland Time contains a wealth of settings, but this guide will focus on essential information you need to start using the system. We’ve provided this handy checklist to help you get started:
- Step 1: Login to Heartland Time
- Step 2: Update your Pay Groups Critical Step!
- Step 3: Configure Overtime Rules and Pay Codes
- Step 4: Configure the Employee Templates
- Step 5: Complete Employee Setup
- Step 6: Time Clock Setup Instructions (Optional)
Once these steps are complete, Employees can clock in and out or access their timesheet information from a browser or an app. For more information, please see Employee Access.
